Description This is a vintage Popeye Drink porcelain sign (also known as a Popeye advertisement pump plate), measuring approximately 11 3/4 inches high by 7 3/4 inches wide (rectangular shape). It features the classic cartoon mascot: Popeye the Sailor Man in his signature pose, flexing with spinach can and bottle of Popeye soda, “DRINK POPEYE” arched at the top in red with trade mark, “5¢” price, “I YAM WHAT I YAM AND I YAM TOPS” slogan at the bottom in blue and red— a classic Popeye soda / beverage advertising sign. Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
