Description WHAT IS IT A cheap boost converter that converts an input voltage to a steady, higher output voltage. NOT for mains use – DC-DC only. WHAT IS IT USED FOR Powering an item that needs a higher voltage than the voltage you have available. You could charge a 19V laptop from a car battery with the right cables HOW DO I USE IT RV1 CV-ADJ CCW = Increase voltage RV2 CC-ADJ CW = Increase current To setup voltage, turn RV2 CC-ADJ to max by turning clockwise till the pot clicks. Then, without a load, adjust RV1 CV-ADJ to the voltage you need. If you need to control current, put an ammeter in the output (see my combined Voltage Ammeters!), turn the RV2 CC-ADJ to min by turning anti-clockwise till pot clicks, apply load, and increase RV2 CC-ADJ TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Input Min 8V Max50V Do not go below the min voltage, as the output voltage goes very high Max 15A, but 8A continuous. Provide air cooling if the heatsinks get hot. A large input current will generate lots of heat. Output Min 11.5V Max 67V Max 12A, but 7A continuous. Consider air cooling if heatsinks get hot. Reverse protection on input Very basic short circuit protection for a short period- don’t short to set current. 67mm x 48mm x 29mm OBSERVATIONS This is a cheap power supply. Don’t run it at its maximum – give it some headroom. 12V 9.5A 114W => 24V 4.35A 104W = 91% 24V 4.38A 105W => 36V 2.8A 100W = 96% 24V 6.58A 158W => 36V 4.2A 150W = 95% 50 degC after 10 minutes 36V 5.08A 183W => 48V 3.72A 178W = 97% 57 decC after 10 mins DELIVERY Free 2nd Class Royal Mail tracked. You can level up to 1st Class. SUPPORT If you’re unsure if this is the power supply for you, just ask. My support is second to none. I will gladly help you before or after purchase.
