Solder/clamp your input to the IN and – Put a voltage meter across OUT and – Turn the constant voltage setting (CV) pot to get the voltage you require.  Clockwise higher. If the output voltage is the same as the input voltage, turn CV anti-clockwise until it starts to fall.
